As a professional organization constituted to advocate for improved educational programming and the general welfare of children and youth with disabilities, CCBD has accepted the responsibility to seek to clarify issues, determine and advocate for positions which reflect judgment of the best practices and standards, and communicate those positions to its membership and to any other person or agency concerned with educational services for children and youth with emotional and behavioral disorders. The following list contains CCBD Position Papers, Position Statements, and White Papers developed over the years. While some of these documents were developed several years ago, the positions stated remain the positions of CCBD. You can find some on the right hand side of this page. Revised position papers will be published and shared as soon as they are available.
