CCBD Foundation Scholarship Programs

The CCBD Foundation Scholarship Program awards scholarships to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in the field of EBD or related area in alternating years:

These national scholarships are named in honor of individuals who demonstrated a long-term commitment to field of EBD and to the International Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders. In 1999, the CCBD Foundation Scholarship Committee solicited nominations from the CCBD membership for leaders whose contributions were so significant that they should be recognized by having scholarships named after them. The committee received a considerable number of outstanding nominations. The Scholarship Committee developed criteria and each individual was rated on their contribution to field of EBD in general, and their dedication to CCBD in particular. Each of the individuals nominated for this honor has made significant contributions to field and to CCBD. Consequently, the process of selecting one or two individuals was a difficult and daunting task. The Scholarship Committee would like to thank all those CCBD members who submitted nominations for this prestigious recognition and all the nominees for their lifelong commitment to our field and organization.
