Welcome to the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD) Foundation website. The CCBD Foundation is associated with the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders, a division of the Council for Exceptional Children. CCBD represents approximately 6,000 professionals and family members committed to promoting and facilitating the education and general welfare of children and youth with emotional/behavioral disorders (EBD).

The mission of the CCBD Foundation is to enhance the education and treatment of students with EBD and their families by supporting activities in four priority areas in the field. These priority areas are:

• Supporting classroom practitioners
• Supporting professional development activities
  
• Recognizing leaders in the field
• Providing scholarships for undergraduate and gradute study
