Colorado CCBD - Our website is up and running. www.colorado-ccbd.org, and we're on facebook so like us!!
Our annual Affective Needs conference is on Friday, January 20. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Ross Greene, and we are featuring many fantastic and relevant breakout sessions throughout the day. We know that participants will leave with many ideas and tools that they could implement on Monday morning in their classrooms! At that conference, we will be awarding the Kay Cessna Award to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional skill in serving students with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities. We look forward to announcing that winner in the next newsletter!
We are accepting applications for 3 grant opportunities, 2 for classrooms and 1 for professional development.
We look forward to supporting the Council for Exceptional Children's International Conference in Denver in April, and are currently working with CCBD National on the membership table as well as the Foundation Fundraisers!
